STAIN GLASS WINDOWS:

~ Tree of Life~

The Tree of life is a symbol in most religions and even in biology.

For Catholics, it represents the Holy Spirit and the fruit represent the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In some depictions it represents the cross and Jesus’ sacrifice. I did not go that direction, I went with the full tree, an old tree with multiple limbs and branches representing the line of David from Abraham. Although it is contained in the three windows, it is meant to express that it is growing well out side and beyond the confines of the windows. There is a Deer/Elk reference at the base of the tree showing it’s enormity and two of the four rivers circling it. I also showed the stump of the Tree of Wisdom (thought to have been near the tree of life) that mankind had chopped down - we all know that it represents our inability to get our world straightened out. The tree’s roots are visible at the very bottom showing strength, longevity, stability and foundation in the Trinity.
